Peruvian Pink Salt comes from an ancient ocean, trapped underground, which feeds a spring located 10,000 feet high in the Andes Mountains in Maras, Peru.
Danish Viking-Smoked Salt is made in a style devised by the Vikings, thanks to the efforts of one man in Denmark, who took it upon himself to rekindle this millennium-old tradition.
Season like the pros when you use this beautiful black salt. Use it not only to accentuate flavor but to accentuate the look of your dish.
nice look, but for the money, I would prefer more product and less packaging.

Great look, more classy and upscale. Although I love the new look I wish the cost could come down or quantitys go up.

Thanks for your feedback and comments thus far! One great part of the new packaging is that we have expanded the size (by approx. 30%), and yet have kept the prices essentially the same. A better look and a better value!

I was just comparing the look of my "old label" Danish Viking Smoked sea salt with the new, and most noticeable besides the color change, is that the product description is more prominent while the Company name is less. Overall, I think it is an improvement however I wish you had kept the image of the old Viking on the cover...
No matter, glad to see that the quantities went up while holding the priceline. It's not cheap, but a little of this stuff goes a long way. Love it and recommend it to all my friends.
Looking forward to enjoying the Pink Himalayan Salt Plates we just ordered today...
