Stress
Not so long ago I read that life span ultimately boils down to how well one handles stress: specifically, that 5% of extended life span can be attributed to good exercise habits, 5% to good diet, and the remaining 90% to how well one handles stress.
While shopping recently at Butchers Block, a specialty food store in Aspen, the woman in front of me was adding to her order several types of cheese. After a few moments, she changed her mind, voicing her reasoning that it would be a healthier decision not to buy any cheese.
I couldn’t help myself, and I shared with this stranger what I’d read, and that I felt that sitting down to good cheese, personally, made me less stressed and therefore would help me to live longer.
The woman changed her mind and purchased the cheese after all.
The same can be said, of course, for salt. What’s more likely to kill you than the salt itself is all the worry, concern and fear with which the anti-salt lobbyists are filling our heads.

I have to say I completely agree with you. The important thing is balance of course and to enjoy life and stop stressing so much.
